Maintenance/Repair Costs after 100,000kms

I'm seriously considering purchasing a 2007 Honda Fit with about 95,000kms on it.
Does anyone have any experience or further info about what kind of repairs I can expect in the next year or 2? (I drive about 20,000/year)

I know the FIT has a timing chain rather than a belt that would normally need replacing soon, but are there other big replacements or repairs I should know about around the 100,000 km mark?

I also have the option of purchasing an additional 4 year bumper to bumper warranty but I want to know if it's worth it.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!

I have 60,400 miles (97,000ish kilometers) and at the risk of jinxing myself, have had zero mechanical issues. I have experienced an issue with the driver side door lock, but it's been fairly easy to circumvent by installing the keyless entry system.

If you take care of it, the Fit should easily last you another 100,000 kilometers without any major issues. If you want to be sure, I'd take it to a mechanic you trust and have them perform a full inspection on all the major components, but I wouldn't expect anything. Can't recall without the manual in front of me, but I think it's due for a fluid flush and change at some point in the 60-70,000 mile range.

A friend of mine is a salesman to a Honda dealership in NJ. He is on a first name basis with the service manager. The SM told him they don't see any Fit's, except for routine maintenance. He say's they are almost bullet proof, as nothing goes wrong with them. That being said, as with any used car you wish to purchase, you should take it to a Honda dealership, or a reputable independent shop, and have them do a complete inspection of the car prior to purchase.

In our Fit Sport's first 70K miles we did normal maintenance (oil, filters, trans fluid), a valve adjustment, and front brake pads.

Still on the OE rubber, but we also run a set of mounted snows in winter so a set of tires would have been a cost otherwise. (The mounted snows on steel rims were ~ 480 at Tire Rack)

Two recalls, two warranty visits for the common water leak through the doors, and an A/C switch.

I've done 166.566 km till today.. and no any major issue happens to my jazz.. the things that makes a problem is indonesian fuel quality that makes me have to clean the engine with a carbon cleaner every 40.000 km..

And indonesian bumpy and rough road so i've changed my shock absorbers and suspension bushings

Otherwise i just done ordinay maintenance..
