Check engine light came on and now when tryin to accelerate it won't let me go past 4k rpm. Any ideas. Pretty much feeling like red lining at 4k.

Sounds like you some how got into Limp Home mode. Not sure how to get out of it. What did you do before this happened?

So this thread seems to think it's the VTEC oil pressure switch. https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/fit-...re-switch.html This would explain why the vehicle won't go over 4,000 rpm. Now whether that's exactly whats going on with your vehicle I don't know. But it is a possibility.

2010 Honda Fit does not go over 4000 rpm

I don't know whether it is a problem or not. My car honda fit 2010 does not go over 4000 rpm. It's like some cut off when I step over 4000 rpm in the neutral position of transmission.

Apart from that, there is no problem.

Is there a switch that holding control for eco mode or not? But my car does not have a eco button.
