08 GD3 lurking around

Hi, New here
Recently got rid of my Mini Cooper for a more practical Fit and couldn't be happier with my decision

Even though I would love to start modding my car due to a recent carpal tunnel release surgery using my hand for anything of that sort is currently impossible and results in complete fail.

I'll try to post some picks tomorrow but it's supposed to rain so that might have to be put on hold

Welcome aboard Stay! The Mini gets good mpg doesn't it? Well unless you have the turbo. Plus you can't stick a recliner in it... Good luck!

Bet a base model gets decent mpg, I had the supercharged MCS and it probably only averaged around 21city/24hw.

Welcome to the forum!

I love R53 MCSs... Going from a R53 to a GD3 must be an interesting change of pace daily drivablity wise. Do you have pics of your Coop?

The Cooper was exhausting to drive for long distances, not to mention stop and go traffic made me want to kick babies.

Mini cooper's

In 2008 I looked hard at the cooper, I figure I didnt need the extra room anyway. The power and the handling was just sick. It reminded me of my SV650. I ran into the FIT online and started looking at the car room me ness
and I was sold. Still cruise the BMW dealership from time to time. I take my sister's car to the dealership to have its maintence done, but for the life of me why cant they give me a Mini for a looner car. I'd even replace the gas.hehe

The count down contines, 10 more months and its mine...baby.

My last car was gonna be a Mini Cooper, but, I think I would have the same outcome as from my real last car, (in which, I wore a paper bag over my head with that.)
