Exclamation Wipers controlling Signal lights??

My 2008 Fit developed a very strange quirk. Occasionally when turning the left signal on, the dash indicator and exterior signals will illuminate with out flashing. The left signals/indicator will stay solid illuminated even if the signal switch is moved to the off position or even over to the right signal (which will operate normally). My discovered way of canceling this non-flashing left signal is to use the "mist" feature on the wipers.
I've experienced this 5 times in the last week. I have yet to be able to purposefully replicate the issue.
It should be stated that I cut in to the wiring harness for the independent fog light DIY.
This is a very strange and intermittent issue. I have informed the dealer about it and would appreciate any constructive advice.
Thanks.

Did this start only after you cut into your wires?

No. I've had the fog light mod for over a year. The issue only started last week after my car had an oil change done at the dealer.

Recheck all your grounds, especially the one on the Driver side in the engine bay. It's behind your bumper and connected to the frame, there's a ton of grounds going to one screw. I had this issue before like the symptoms you've described and found out it was a loose ground. Hope this helps.

Haven't had a chance to check the grounds yet but found all the appropriate grounding points in the wiring diagrams.

There has been a new development in the issue; the weather here has become quote rainy which has stop the problem occurring altogether. Before the rain started the problem was getting quite bad, almost happening constantly. After today I've got the next two days off, will find the bottom of this then.

Those are the same issues that I've faced before leaving me with headaches. The rain helps the grounds when they get wet as they transfer electricity. I'm positive it's just your grounds like mine and your one screw is loose as I described above. Better way to ground it, scrape any excess paint around the screw hole to ensure better contact to the grounds.

Finally got around to checking the ground wires. Turns out that when the installation of my HIDs happened, my buddy used the drives side grounding screw to mount the tin bracket.
I changed the mount location and re-solidified the ground. Haven't had any issues since.
