Anyone with issues Seibon CF lip

I had the Seibon CF lip put on the car last Monday, April 9th and it fit perfect. I drove all week no problems and decided on Friday to wash it. I put it in the garage to cool the paint and when it was cold to touch started washing. I noticed a buckled area in the middle of the lip and the paint showing on the passenger side where the lip is suppose to butt up against the black vents. There is no sign of anyone hitting it or no scratches. I know that it was not done while driving because I am really careful with my car. Here is a picture:

Here you can see where it slipped away from the vent area:

Anyway, Seibon wanted pictures which I sent and I am taking it in on Friday for oil change and state inspection. Will have them look at it and see if it can be adjusted. They felt there is too much tension on the lip and it need readjusted. If this doesn't work they will take the lip back however they can't get me another one for over 4 weeks.

Now - I hate when this happens but here it goes. The lip was a little bigger than what I thought it would be. I liked it and could be happy with it on the car but I found that JDM Password has the Polyurethane full Type R body kit for the same price I paid for just the lip. I love the way it looks because it gives you the black under the car which kinda goes with my Milano Red and Black look. If I can't get this fixed opinions on scratching the CF and going with the Type R for the Fit - know this is not a Fit but it gives you an idea how it looks on the red:

I can get the rear, front lip and both side skirts - it will give the car a different look and be lower profile. Now if they can fix the CF lip so it fits better - I will be happy but if not I just wanted to kick this around with you guys.

I'm pretty sure the PW:JDM 'Type R' kit is just the OEM Sport kit.

Can't say I'm surprised about the issues with the lip, Seibon isn't known for their workmanship sadly.

Looks like at this point it will be having Honda see if they can release tension on the lip from the install and if that doesn't work then it will come off and Seibon will replace with a new one.

Why take it to Honda? I'd take it to a real body shop, better quality of work and likely the same price or cheaper.

Well I was washing the car on Thursday to get it cleaned up for the trip to Honda for an oil change, rotation of tires and to do my state inspection. The CF lip is starting to split on the side where it screws into the car and you can see it splitting right in the seam. I went ahead and had them take it off , put on the stock lip and plans are to send it back. I am hoping they will refund me and just call it a day but if not I may have to fight with them to get the refund and not just a replacement. Seibon felt that the pictures I sent showed a failure in the lip itself which they advised sometimes happen with CF pieces. If I have to take the replacement I will take it to a local shop that does body work and restoration this time. I just assumed that the Honda body shop would be better at working on this since they deal with Hondas all day long. They have done work on it before and always did an awesome job. I am just glad to have my baby back to looking like it did without any damage. I was worried the CF lip being so massive might have scratched or marred the paint but it did not. Whew!

Does anyone have the CF Seibon Spoiler on their Fit or have pictures of one? I am thinking if Seibon will not do a refund I may just purchase the spoiler because I think that would work on the car better than the lip did.
I searched on the web but can't find any really good pictures.
