Front lip from other car?
Is there any car's front lip that matches the Fit's front lip? I want a SMALL CF splitter, but there isnt' one for the Fit. Will a EG lip fit? FD? Anything? Does anyone know?

Just doing a fast search I found a bit of info on cutting CF. Most of it was for RC cars and what not but it seems like you will want to where eye protection and a face mask. here is a video I found about some safety tips when working with CF http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OoUFMHjU3Eg
hopefully some of that is helpful

I've done a fair amount of work with carbon splitters, mainly for Minis and M3's (big M3 splitter pictured, and the company M7 makes some nice ones for the MINI) and it wouldn't be too difficult to come up with one for the Fit with a bit of input from some owners. The Mini splitter is flat and rather basic to make and if the Fit can use a flat one there are a couple ways we could proceed. First if you are interested in doing it on your own I can help you out with carbon or point you to a supplier, but first I would recommend using 1/8 or 1/4 hard board (MDF) to use as a pattern / core. Just trace out the shape of half of the splitter and then transfer that shape to the hard board, flipping it over the center to get the full shape, cut our the shape, test fit it, then cover the board with glass and carbon.
The other option would be for a couple people to agree on an overall shape / look and trace out half of it and send it to me to use in making a mold. Once the mold is finished parts can be produced using a foam core, making for a lighter, stronger part.
