Question M/T popping whenever i shift

Sometimes when I am shifting, it feels like my shifter snaps out of gear and makes a noisy pop sound. The car never leaves gear on its own. My car feels perfectly normal, and i read somewhere that this is normal for manual cars, but can explain what is going on here?

I know exactly what you're talking about because mine does this as well. It happens when I pull on the shifter a little prematurely. Make sure the clutch is in before you start pulling on the shifter. In other words, wait a split second longer before shifting.

It can also occur if you let the clutch out before there is total engagement into the gear you are shifting into...

The fit always makes you feel like a baseball player. Get a little sloppy with your shifting habits (similar to developing bad swinging habits) and you get undesired results. Stay focused and fundamental and your batting average goes up. I guess now that I write that out it really doesn't relate to baseball. Fuck.
