Roof Rack on 2008

Hey all
I put a Thule roof rack system on my Fit. Now the lining on my doors is tearing where the roof rack is attached. Does anyone else have this problem? Any solutions?

I have the same exact problem on my 1994 Honda Accord. I don't see a solution to this problem, because it is just the way Honda designs the weatherstripping.
