I sucked water out of all the cylinders with a long tube and syringe, got some out of each one. Let dry and bake yesterday. Last night cranked it and it turned over ok, reinstalled same plugs to test. Had to jump the batter to full life, cranked for about 20 seconds and it started up. Held idle ok no noises yet. Shut it down and getting fresh oil and filter in.. So far so good.. I'll check compression later and if that is ok then I assume it's ok at that point.

So all this was because you had CAI? Joey too?

I'd see about getting a couple of gallons of methanol or ethanol to put in the crankcase and cylinders too absorb the water in the oil system and cylinders before adding oil.... Using an air compressor to blow out water and then the alcohol with remaining water could save you from having problems later on...

Yes cai with wife driving. So everything is ok, compression was over 230 for each cylinder, flushed with 2 oil changes, 2 filters, no more milky oil. Fresh synthetic and new plugs, runs like normal again. I split the intake so the cone is under the hood now, no more cold part. If you have a CAI get rid of it, wife said it happened in maybe 3 inches of water.

@joeykunz, never liked CAI unless you're a tracker w turbo for those reasons... They're mostly looks. Just my take... Good to know you're able to correct your issue...

I had an AEM CAI for awhile that was damaged by a road hazard... I removed the lower pipe and put a huge Spectre filter on it and had a much safer and more free flowing SRI type intake... The Spectre filter is still in use on the intake pipe to the supercharger and the additional air flow could be felt immediately and still is after 5 years... It is very low pitched but loud...

Terrific !!! I think you're OK too.
Now change oil and filter after 15-25 miles then again at 500 miles; then you can go to Honda schedule. Its the water in the oil that will do the most damage later.
Note to others with CAI : the closer to the ground that your intake sucks air into the engine the hotter your intake air will be. While thats good for mpg its not so good for power and as these posts have shown, sucking water into the intake is never good.,
