after market rims on my 07 fit sport..please help

Hello all....

I just bought a 07 sport......and need to change the rims because the stockers are pretty beat up.

now...i know the there 15"x 6.5 with an offset of 55...correct?

I want to get some after market and need to know exactly what i need to fit some to the fit.

Im looking at a rim that is 15x6.5, 4x100mm ,hub bore 67.1mm

now I see the offset is very different...and thats whats confusing me...because most of these sites say this size will fit.

What im asking is ...can anyone Please tell me what size/offset
will fit my fit....for sure without getting crazy as far as spacers or hub this and thats....lol

I just want to put a rim on the car it shouldn't be this hard

I THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR TAKING MERCY ON MY DUMBNESS

Aren't the stocks 15x5.5 or 15x6?

The specs of the factory GD ('07 to '08) 15 inch alloys is 15 x 6 with a offset of +55mm; as long as you stay with wheel that is either 6 or 6.5 inches in with you should be fine with offsets as low as +40mm (maybe +38 or as low as +35mm depending on the application). If you use a wheel that is 7 inches in with, stick with +42mm and you should be fine.

Here's a quick article about offset to answer you're question about what it is exactly.

The best aftermarket wheels have an offset 45 mm and mounting tires that don't exceed a diameter of 23.5" for an '07. The diameter of the wheel isn't critical as long as the tire is not too large or too small, like 23". Of course, make sure the wheel dish clears the calipers. There are wheels on here that won';t clear the brake calipers when mounted and if that happens you can solve the problem with up to 1/4, 6mm. spacxers, available on-line and in many auto parts stores.
PS you can get away with down to 42 mm offset but stick with a narrow 195 or less section tire, again with diametyer about 23.5"
good luck.

This is a GD, even a 35 offset will fit just fine.

I have run as low as +32 with very little rubbing too. +45 is the common and safe offset to go with. Right now have a 16x7 +42 with a 205/45/16 and only have rubbng up front over bumps when im turning

We have mounted aftermarket wheels and tires on more than a hundred Fits. When I hear 'only a little rubbing' I cringe. Your 'rubbing' s not everybody's.
First while 205/50x15 tires are good for performance, 195/55x15's or 185/60x15's will yield better mpg and wear. 45 mm offset will be better for track width, suspendsion, and appearance. Plus you can experiment with spacers if you want to push the wheel/tire out further. You can do it with 3mm of 6 mm (1/8 and 1/4" increments) so you can find the edge and back off with only minimal cost.
In any event don't be talked into fender mods unless you don't care if your trade-in value is reduced to crap. A stock looking but great appearing Fit is tops.

I put a K24 into my car... I think trade in value is the last thing on my mind, lol. +45 offset is a very safe offset and good for most people that just want different wheels.
