ac filter gd \ jazz 08

hi mates

we have a 08 jazz AT in family , i looked to replace the air conditioner filter , and i saw that it's missing . the hall system is there , the shelf that the filter has to be in , BUT there is no filter . the Honda garage told me that this is how it come from the factory with no filter ....seems strange to me

anybody know something about the aircon filter ?

Is that the same thing as the cabin air filter? The panel filter that can be located by releasing and swinging the glovebox down?

If it is the same thing, there's supposed to be a filter there. I don't know if it's different in Israel, but that is weird if there's just an opening there because the blower fan would be blowing air out that hole too, instead of out the air vents in the car.

It sound like who ever owned your Fit/Jazz prior to you may have removed the AC/Cabin Air/Pollen filter; usually they come with one installed from the factory to both filter dirt particles from the air going through the ventilation system and out of the air ducts in to the cabin as well as protect the A/C's blower fan from debris from damaging its fan.
