Dropping the glovebox (CD changer/AUX input mod)

Hi guys

I'd like to install eBay Australia: Buy new & used fashion, electronics & home d in my girlfriend's 2008 Honda Jazz GD VTI

I watched the video here Honda Fit 2006-2008 - AUX, iPhone, iPod and MP3 adapter and hope to perform the installation through the glovebox (with the help of my girlfriend's small hands) without needing to take off the headunit

Problem is the glovebox in the GTA car kit installation video is different to the one in her car - and there doesn't seem to be an easy way to make it drop. in fact, it seems rather fixed (pictured)

Any suggestions for how I could make this glove box drop to proceed with the installation?

Any help would be appreciated

Claymore says:

Tell him the lower half of the glove box slides out like a drawer in a desk. Just get it started and it slides right out and then back in. Watch out for loosing the small clips that hold it in.
