I like to drive mine up to a nice sports car, rev the engine, and when he takes off, smile.

I like to drive up to a nice sports car, rev the engine after letting out the clutch and watch as they get smaller and smaller in the rear view mirror.

It's just a great all around car. I always contemplate on getting another car like:
1. Mazada 3 but mpg is really bad. I don't care what EPA rates it at.
2. Hyundai Veloster Turbo but numb handling and less cargo room
3. Suburu hatch but insurance will be too high plus all around expenses
4. Civic but I just don't want it to get stolen... Again

It's just a great feeling driving a car that has won so many awards in the automotive industry.

-cheap to maintain and reliable
-I've done a lot of mods lately
-I want to stay with Honda, but the only other Honda I'd take right now is an S2000... and I can't find the right one in good shape.

This makes me want to get back into a MT fit right now. But my XB is paid for and gets close to the fit's mpg so really it would save me no money to get into one. Maybe i just need to start moding the XB. My wife keeps hers because
good MPG
cheap to maintain
roomy inside
easy to park lol

1. Paid off early in February!
2. The most favorite car I've ever owned
3. 24 Trophies later - it still is exciting to drive and show.
4. I never get tired of people asking me, "Is this really your car? "
5. I love having hot young guys wave at me when they go by in their
imports.
6. I love everything about it including the little things that drive other
people crazy.
7. When my cousin told me I should sell it while it only has 30,000 miles on it and give the buyer all my trophies I was able to smile and say
"I don't think so"
8. I get to drive a car that doesn't look like everybody elses
9. Oh yes, great gas milage and getting to pass by the gas stations after filling up for the next 2 weeks.
10. I would not be a Fit Freak without it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

... *looks around room* It was free...

Plus its a blast to drive still and in terms of cost effectiveness and practicality... I could easily source a used KWSC kit and decent coil overs to tailor it too my preferences rather than go out and get another car and loose out on practicality.

1. Its paid off
2. It's great to drive
3. It handles like stink on mountain roads
4. Gas mileage is pretty good
5. I haven't had any major problems with it, had to get alternator & coil pack
6. if it wasn't for my rollbars inside, I would have a canyon full of space
7. it will last me a long time, hopefully like 30 years or so....
8. I love it

Please do Blue Cell! - I would love to see your car in person and have you sign my Honda Tuning! Love that Fit and yup it truly is famous! You made us all proud of you and your car.

I think that is one reason it has done so well at car shows because the judges have never seen a Fit before and enjoy the fact that it is different. Fun to have people come up and say, we have a Fit but never dreamed you could do all this with one. Also nice to go to a show and beat the Civics, S2000 and Del Sols in a little Fit that is on the road every day. I am retiring it after this year because of the paint is showing it's 5 years of being on the road every day and I will start saving for what will be a garage kept show car to play with when I get close to retirement. We've had a good run of it and can't say how much fun it has been making new friends that are like family all from just going to shows.

Hey CAT you have any recent pics of your car? I have not seen it in a long time. What are you thinking about as a show car??

Here is my baby...

My project car is hopefully going to be a Del Sol very clean and classic. I want to try my hand at showing in the classic car shows in our area but still showing my favorite a Honda. It will be a few years of saving before I will be able to purchase the car. I hate to give up showing the Fit but it is just too hard to show a DD and trying to keep it looking like it just came off the show room floor.

I can back this up. I think it depends on driving conditions though. I was on a road trip once and I reset my tripmeter at every gas up. We were at about 250+ miles at half tank, which would add up to about 500 miles on a full tank. Never was able to get that kind of mileage again though...

Because my 2008 Fit is running great and I need to save money to put my two daughters through college rather than spend it on a new car I don't need.
