I'm only a year and a bit into ownership on my gd3 but I'm driving it because it fits my needs. Lots of storage, good on gas, good at the racetrack, and so far it's reliable. I'll probably sell it in 5 years or so when electric cars are wicked.

I have too many performance modifications installed and a couple of piles of more things that need to be installed to be wanting to sell it... It is still under 50,000 miles, gets fair fuel mileage and faster than a lot of performance cars that over twice what I have invested in it if I don't count my time... It's like having a moped that can hold it's own with a 600cc crotch rocket.

Why?
Why not? I just bought my '07 last year. Still looks pretty new.

- good gas mileage
- great handling stock, even better if tuned.
- lots of space & storage for my two kids & I
- overall, love it as a daily driver.
