One Year With Fitty Cent...
It was on this day one year ago that I brought home my 2008 Honda Fit Sport (A/T)...dubbed "Fitty Cent".
(Photo taken this morning after I got to work...and before I got it washed.)
When I bought it (for $11,800.00), it had 50,970 miles on it. In the past year, I've put right at 22,000 miles on Fitty. I've tracked my fuel economy on Fuelly.com since day one, and I've averaged 32.0 MPG over the year. My highest was 39.9 MPG. Maintenance-wise, I've done oil changes and tire rotations every 3,000 miles, and I did 3 transmission drain and fills with the 3 oil changes prior to the most recent oil change. I hit a slick spot on an overpass Christmas Day last year and scraped the retaining wall, but it was only damage to my front bumper, and that got repaired immediately.
Overall, I've been quite happy with my Fit. It's reasonably fun to drive, quite economical and practical.
Looking forward to another year and beyond!
