I have a 2008 European Jazz. I would be interested in learning where the beeper is located and how it can be accessed. I do not wish to disable the beep but just make it a lot quieter by covering it. Your advice would be appreciated.

Did you try locating it by ear? Not trying to be funny, but I just can't imagine how hard it can be ...

 

Thank you for the suggestion. Due to the high frequency and internal sound reflections inside the car it is very hard to locate by ear. I suspect it may be somewhere in the instrument panel, but before doing any dismantling I want to be sure.
