Electronics or transmission problem

I have 2001 Honda fit, 1.3 2 wheels drive, automatic transmission.
While driving, electronics randomly shut off for a second and engine sounds like in neutral and pushing gas pedal. after second when I release gas pedal and push it again, everything comes back to normal functionality.
Could anyone advice me what problem it can be?

It certainly sounds like an electrical problem. I would be looking for corroded or loose cable connections in the box mounted on the battery. Also do not forget to check the ground cables. Clean up any connection you suspect or take apart, even if it looks good. I mean shiny metal clean.

I like to use an anti-oxidatiion grease on the connections when I put them back together. Anti-oxidation grease is available in most hardware stores. Unfortunately I'm not familiar with any brands outside of the US.

Here is an example of what I'm talking about.

IDEAL Anti-Oxidant, 4 oz. Squeeze Bottle - Corrosion Inhibitors - 10F541|30-026 - Grainger Industrial Supply

Ideal No-Alox Anti oxidant Grease 8-oz Squeeze Bottle [IDEAL 30-030] - $17.48 : Outdoor Lighting Direct, Larger Inventory. Better Service

You can find it much cheaper than on the above sites. Buy the smallest size you can find. You will never use an entire tube.
