I need to replace a damaged rear bumper on a 2007 Fit Sport. The rear lower spoiler / lip is not damaged. I've located a used rear bumper from a base model Fit, and I'm wondering if I can use it.

I don't believe there are holes drilled in the base model rear bumper to connect the lip. Will it align and fit properly on the base bumper but simply needs the holes drilled? Is this difficult? Anyone that's done this care to comment? Would I be better off to spend a little more and purchase the correct Sport bumper from Honda?
