CVT Issues

CVT Issues

Dear all,

i have a gd1 with a CVT trans. i used the Honda CVT oil and i still have a hard vibration whilst pulling off. i changed it twice in quick succession but it still is the same. Please help me because this vibration is very overbearing. i hope to God that someone got this probelm corrected.

Sounds like a motor or transmission mount is the issue.


If you have a friend to rev the car while you look at motor, does it move a lot?

does it vibrate bad at idle?

hey thanks for the reply. when the car is in park or nautral, it doesnt judder if you rev but when you go in drive and pull off even if you try to keep ur revs at 2000rpm it still judders. its worse if you floor it while pulling off. i dont think its a mount issue. i had that checked too. even replaced the left side.

More like the start clutch is bad.

i think i also have the same issue before, and i planned to get my fit in to honda's car service. but you know what I did? I was "red lining" my fit and i think it fixed itself. but i dont recommend to do that.

a simple transmission flush will solve this problem. Solved it for me
