06 1.4 CVT Jazz/fit with odd running fault. Help!

I've started to get a strange jerk when the engine is warm around 2000rpm and trying to accelerate. Feels a little like a misfire, but I'm not sure it is. The problem doesn't occur above 2000rpm or below or even when ticking over. There's also no codes stored in the ECU.
I was wondering if it could even be a the CVT gearbox kicking down to a ratio too low, but again there's no codes stored and I've actually got no proof as to what it is.
So..... Has anyone got any idea what the cause of the problem is. Or even what I should be testing or investigating. Any help would be great.

Thanks

Unless someone from outside of the US is to read your post you are not very likely to get a response.. The 1.4 CVT models have never been imported to dealers here and the dealer repair manual used here doesn't cover your car.. About the only thing sold here with CVTs is motor scooter... Don't completely give up though, there are at times people that do know about and drive cars with CVT that pop in and may read your post..
