Hello,

I'm new to the forum. I just bought a 2008 Fit LX. I've already had some of the backlights replaced by the dealer, but I noticed a few more buttons (A/C, rear defrost) don't have backlights. Should they have backlights?

Should the side mirror adjust button and the power window buttons also have backlighting?

The AC & defrost buttons should have backlights the same color as the other buttons (white backlight, green and amber indicators)

As for the side mirror, I took my switch out to see if it had a backlight but unfortunately it does not. Which kinda sucks.

 

Thanks for the info! I guess I'll be heading back to the dealership...why wouldn't they check all the lights while they had the dash taken apart?!

 

Maybe they did check it, but sometimes when it's not placed in snug the bulbs tend to shift out of contact. That's what happened to my AC backlight, I thought it was burnt out so I took it apart and bought a replacement bulb only to find out that the bulb base just shifted.
