Your Dream Garage

I spent seven hours there yesterday working on my car.

It is as good as advertised. It is as good as I hoped it would be. It is as good as I dreamed a DIY garage could be.

Highly recommended.

And I so wish this was in my area in Florida. I don't think there's something like this in my state period! Sounds like a nice business to be in in FL as well!

My DIY environment is a joke... anything would probably be an upgrade.

"Your Nightmare Garage" is what I'm using :P

On military bases, they usually have auto hobby shops where you can rent out workspace stalls, oil change ramps, paint booths and tools to check out. Don't know nowadays if the bases still have them. Very handy.

I know that the bases around me have them, I used the one on NAS Oceana to do my front sway bar a couple of years ago. I have since been back a few times to help my friends work on their cars.

You grab a bud.

Good luck trying to find a fitfreaker to help you with anything other than buying louder speakers for your car.

As for going on base, I prefer to leave the military option on hold.

Well for any of the Fit Freaks on here, in the Wright Patt area(dayton ohio). I'd be willing to get you on base so you can go to their auto hobby shop.

They just upgraded the building and it's alot nicer than the dump they had before. I go there when I don't wanna work on the ground in my grandpa's garage. I do simple stuff at his place, and more advanced work on base.

On a side note, I do believe most AF bases have something. I haven't seen an Air Force base without one. Albeit, some smaller than others, but out of all the ones I've seen I'd venture to say almost all AFB's have them.

I miss the Yokota AB hobby shop the most. Only God would know the amount of money, time, blood, and sweat I spent there. Stupid drift Nissans and Toyotas.

It's nice to see the DIY auto garages popping up. It's sorta a big risk being public, but that's what a waiver is for. Even the bases have one.

About Us | Your Dream Garage

That wedding dress isn't going to stay white very long!

Anyway, in Northern NJ a similar place is the Performance Garage Club near Flemington, NJ. They offer lifts, tools, detailing supplies, and climate controlled storage space for "toy" cars, as well.

Wow! That is so cool. The rates seem pretty reasonable. I wish that existed where I am located. I am just mesmerized by it hahaha. I have heard of the concept but never actually thought someone was actually doing it.
