SOO I was looking to buy a strut bar for my GD3. I'm not really sure which one I should go with. The only concern I have is that I have a Spoon Engine Torque Damper installed as well, and I was wondering if that will cause problems with installing a strut bar. I was thinking of going for a Spoon Strut bar as well just to keep it consistent. But I'm open to any better suggestions. A link to a DIY for the damper can be found below.

On a side note, I want to get a C-Pillar bar as well. I was thinking of going for the T1R carbon bar. Any suggestions on that as well?

 

get rid of that engine dampener, its only killing your engine mounts opposite of its effect.

Strut bar should clear it just fine.


Fill your mounts with window weld, it will help much more then an overpriced engine dampener

 

I think the car feels great with the torque damper on it. Acceleration just feels more solid.

 

It puts much more stress on the other mounts.

Having all your mounts filled with window weld will feel even firmer, and you can then sell that dampener to some other poor soul

EDIT window weld is 20-30 bucks depending on location purchased at, and the caulk gun required to use it is under $10, plus tape, plus anything you want to clean up after job is done
