I recently purchased a 2007 Fit Sport.

It's killing my lower back.

I was at the dealer a couple of days ago and I sat in a 2014 Fit. The seats have much better back support. Two questions: 1.) Does anyone know what year Honda upgraded the seats to have better lumbar support? 2.) Does anyone know if the seats in later models can be bolted into earlier versions without modification?

No, I doubt you can just swap seats between the GE and GDs that easily, the mounts are different afaik. However have you tried any cheaper solutions such as those back lumbar supports that you get at Walgreens or something?

 

I have tried 3 different versions. So far, nothing fits the Fit seat very well. I need to find something that fits in between the "wings" of the seat. I'll have to keep trying. Thanks for your suggestion.

 

No prob. I'm sure you can find a a support that will fit the Fit's (haha) seats properly.
