help: major problem? cel

HAD the Fit for two years, when I first got it dealer overfilled the engine oil, after driving it like that for a month, took it back and have they drain it seems OK after... About six months or so later it starts having random idle misfire. Replaced spark plugs and didn't fi it.

Been driving it like that for a year, occasionally it would also have misfire here and there at higher rpm. Recently when I try to accelerate above 5000 rpm, it would bog down and seems to misfire or feels like fuel cut off or something. Today similar thing happen, and it throw a cel.

I haven't pull the cell yet, but what could be the potential problem I'm looking at here? FYI, all those years with those random misfire, it never throw a cel...

You are looking at a valve adjustment or replacing one or more spark plug coil packs.

SEARCH "Constant Speed Stutter" or 'Coil Pack" ... lots of discussion as well as recommendations of which coil pack brands to buy.

Coil packs. I drive with a messed up coil as well. Changed it once, don't wanna change it again (maybe when it gets worse)

I recommend getting good OEM ones (Hitachi IGC0053's) and not cheap ones like I did. The cheap ones go bad within like 10-15k miles.
