HELP!! Big Trouble.
So, I am in a pickle. I think I have a damaged set of threads in the cylinder head from my header install. I noticed because I have a small leak and went to retorque the bolts and one 'gave loose' instead of tightening up. I'm looking for opinions on repair tactics. The hole in question is for the bottom right header bolt (if you imagine looking at the header flange from the driver's compartment.) This is kinda of a tight spot or I would consider using a helicoil/thread insert. I don't think I could fit a drill in there a still drill a straight hole.
Other options I have considered are:
-Chasing the threads
-Using Loctite form-a-thread, ehh.
-Somehow securing a stud in this hole, and then using a nut instead of a bolt
-Doing a K20 swap right now with money I don't have
Please help, I really cannot afford (time or money, its my DD) to have to pull the head to fix this.
