"Fit" Emblem Location

Hey all, first post here. I have a pretty simple question.

I saw many threads going over how to install the H emblem on the GD3 but nothing describing the Fit emblem. The previous owner installed a Jazz badge that fell off before I bought it so I don't have anything to line it up with.

Does anyone have a photo or diagram showing the factory location of the Fit (USDM) emblem?

2007 Sport 5MT if it matters.

Thanks in advance.

Here you go. Sorry the page got cutoff but the manual is very thick. The proper placement is shown below. Hope this helps : )

2.3" left from the license plate contour line and 2.76" down from the body line.

Thanks. I can't read it well on my phone right now but it is definitely exactly what I needed.

So is mine, the H's silvery plastic coating is scratching off and I rarely use the damn horn. My fiancees CRV steering wheel emblem is doing the same thing but worse. Too bad the dealer won't replace free of charge. There ought to be a TSB for it or something.

Just fine. The info was dead on, just make sure you measure from the body line and not the license plate surround (the body line is about 2" higher). I used painters tape to mark off the measurements and that made it pretty easy to line up.

More problematic was the old gunk that was left on. It must have baked on for years. I tried goo be gone, clay, wd40, compound on a DA, and finally had to take drastic action. Ill have some photos up later.

Looks like my H on the steering wheel is cracked as well. I'll check the civic forums for how to replace it.

I Wonder if this would fit on my Fit?

GrafiXpressions - Express yourself in vinyl form!...

I already have JDM badges all around so that would be consistent.

Here are some photos from getting that emblem on. Ill post a "build" thread soon to track my own work.

After a wash, this is what the rear looked like:

Here is the HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED DO SO AT YOUR OWN RISK gunk removal procedure. No issues here:

And finally how it sits now. You guys will see how rough this thing is when I post in a new thread:

Also, for those who care, looks like wheel emblem cant be replaced without changing out the airbag. Im sure you could make it work with a junkyard emblem and a heat gun but it seems risky.

Why was there a "Jazz" emblem on there? Did the previous owner put that on?
