R18 TB install gives code p2101, faulty actuator

Reinstalled the L15A throttle body and everything is fine again. Sounds like my R18 TB needs replacing. Anyone else get this code, ever?

try taking the actuator off the l15a throttle body and putting it on the r18 throttle body. It just sounds like you bought a dead throttle body.

Well the place is sending me a new one no charge. I was going to try what you suggested but the screws have a torx-like bit but with a raised bump in the center, so regular tore bits wouldn't work. Hopefully this new one works and I won't have to try and get the actuator off.

How big is the R18 TB compared to our stock ones?

I believe it has a 55 mm butterfly as opposed to our 50 mm. The outlet is 55 mm conpared to 53 mm. Inlet is about the same.

They are a security torx bit, much like the same on the seat belt covers.

Cool! Well I got the new throttle body in and it works for the most part, it is giving me another CEL: P1683. From what Ive read this could be in need of adjustment with the idle screw OR another faulty sensor. This is getting annoying, lol. I am going to perform the diagnostic when I get some time.
