So I through rods and replaced the whole engine but with 08 model both identical. All done but won't start. Are there codes I need to enter or what's my next step

 

No codes needed if only long block is changed. Even if throttle body is transferred from the donor car the engine may run poorly if TP sensor is messed up but it should start.
I am guessing the replacement engine has issues too
