What year is your Fit? The filter looks different from 07-08.
Look on the strong light (bright sky is the best) through the filter. If filter looks dark, change it. On my car I have to change filters every 15k mi because of the dust.

The OP's car is not USA (North American) spec, that's why the filter is different.

That filter is OK for another few thousand miles, IMO.

I agree. However, if I had reached 10k mi. or 15 k mi., and I was doing a regular service on my car, I would change it. Note: I don't make these decisions based on cost. If you, on the other hand, have to get every penny's worth out of every part, then, like 'Buff said, you could go another few thousand miles.
