misleading Justanswer, of why mechanics are incompetent!
Please take a look on this post:

The problem looks to me like a valve adjustment, but so called Master technician gave misleading answer (and charged for that!)
There are plenty experts with platinum credentials and very little knowledge about Fit!

I don't think it's fair to generalize that ONE wrong answer is proof that "mechanics are incompetent".
The quality of any response is based on experience, training (knowledge of how a system is SUPPOSED to work), and symptom information given.
I've often said that if I had $5 for every wrong guess I've made, I'd be richer than Bill Gates!
