Fell into a puddle, stalling shortly after driving.

Hi, Honda Fit '06 owner here, about 2 days ago, I fell into a water puddle, some water splashed under my car, it started stalling for a while, so I pulled over, and waited for the rain to end.

I started the engine again, it went alright.

Next day, I start the engine normally, about 1/4 a mile driving, engine stalls for about 5-10 seconds, then it goes back to normal for the rest of the trip, including heavy traffic and red lights.

Later on that day, I'm going back from job to my house. Same situation, I start the engine, drive for a moment, engine stalls for about 5-10 seconds, and then it doesn't happen ever again for the remaining part of the trip.

I made a couple of errands yesterday and every single time, happened.

I already checked my air filter, and it seems to be completely dry. What could it be?

Coincidence, but a dirty throttle body can cause those symptoms.

If you clean it, don't forget to do the Idle Learn Procedure afterwards.
