I have have the opportunity to purchase a Honda Fit (which I have been wanting to do for a while,) I have to options to choose from and wanted different opinions on what was a better deal.

2007 Honda Fit sport - $2500
- back bumper cover has damage will need to be replaced.
-130,xxx miles

2007 Honda Fit sport - $1800
- front bumper cover has damage and is loose and needs to be replaced
- front splash cover under engine is Gone and needs replaced.
-165,xxx miles

What do you guys think? Is the front bumper harder to replace than the front?

 

Go with the first one, less miles is worth it.. plus bumper covers are fairly cheap, unless you want it painted to match.

 

I agree. Get the one with less miles, granted these things will run forever if treated right.

Pick the one thats more complete and the color you like.

Good old fleabay you can find new bumper covers matched to factory colors. Even used ones in great condition shipped for around $100.

 

definitely the first one. If people all drive like the a....holes here in Cali, someone will run into your back bumper anyway. That way, they can pay for a new one.

like everyone else has mentioned. go with the lower mileage ones.
also you may want to make sure that either or does not have a salvage or rebuilt title.
this is a HUGE deal breaker for me. just my .02
