coolant drain bolt to engine
Hello there,
where is the coolant drain bolt to engine located, Fit 2007?
According to the picture in the manual is on the front of engine, above oil filter. But I didn't see any bolt there. A video on youtube shows is on the back of the engine.
Please advise.

I guess I found it.
The drain bolt is located on the front of the engine above the oil filter, under angle to the right side. If you look at the top it is below the generator, on its right side, under angle 30 degrees, towards oil filter. It is a big bolt, probably 18mm, (58lbf.ft). I don’t see any sense for it: first is high and second – inaccessible.

Glad you found it. It's the Gen2 (GE) that has it on the back of the engine block where it is extremely difficult to access. Conversation on this forum suggested that the block's coolant capacity is so small that draining it was not worth the effort, but others disagreed and worked it with success. I let it be on my GE and did a simple drain and fill with Honda brand coolant.

Thank you for the comment! I used the cock to radiator to drain the coolant, then refilled with the distillate water. 4 times x 0.4 gal, approximately 2 gal total. Refilled with concentrate Peak long life. Since 2013 most American brands meet Japanese standard.
