Electric power steering really acting up

Symptoms - Car will be driving fine, the steering wheel will jitter a little then it goes into full blown "MUST TURN LEFT" mode. I was driving around 20mph in the video and then totally letting go of the steering wheel. Has anyone seen anything like this with a fit? What could be wrong here? Here is a video of what my car was doing -

If this happened without any work done around power steering gear wire connection, the problem could be either out of calibration (defective) angle sensor or defective module. Both repairs are expensive.
For those who have steel wheels (small tires), strong hands and don't do a lot of tight parking, removing electrical power steering can be an option

What is expensive about it? It seems like the parts on ebay arent that expensive. I feel pretty confident in taking apart the dash and doing the work as well

would this not fall under the extended warranty issued by Honda last year for steering problems with the GD?
