Question Power Steering (Torque Neutral Programming)

My 2007 Fit keeps drifting to the left. This has been going on for a while and while I haven't been driving it much I haven't noted any tire wear symptoms.

In search of the problem I found and repaired a broken front spring but the drifting problem persisted. After searching this forum and really paying attention to how it drifted I figured it might be the EPS calibration. Pulling the EPS fuse confirmed the drifting problem did not occur without the EPS active. The power steering is definitely biased to the left and always seems to apply a little bit of steering pressure in that direction.

I see reference to setting the "steering torque neutral sensor" memory. This is done at the dealer with their diagnostic and programming equipment but I'm wondering if it could be done like it can be done for a Honda S2000 by jumping ODBII pins 4 to 9 and following procedures rotating the steering wheel following EPS light cues.

I tried this without luck but some people have reported the reprogramming can be finicky and perhaps the procedure is different for my Fit.

Anyone know if this programming method is possible for the Fit and what that method might be?

Jumping ODBII pins 4 to 9 will put all systems into diagnostic mode. Thios method was tested for OBD II codes retrieval (Big thanks for several forum members who've done it!!)
You brought up interesting topic to research; I've read few posts (on the different forums about a rack replacement; let me re-visit them and see how the torque sensor had been calibrated)

I had the same issue, car pulled to the left, alignment was done and redone. Shop cleared some codes regarding the electric power steering and problem solved. Not sure how to do it myself tho.

Well, In the training slide show for alignment shops the toque sensor calibration device is shown; not sure if it works for every single model

Having the same probleme on my 2007 fit. Did someone found a cheap way to calibrate the neutral torque position without going to the dealer.

Power Steering (Torque Neutral Programming)

2008 Honda Fit (Basic / MT, 70K miles). I attempted the torque sensor relearn procedure described in other web-sources, with the front wheels ON the ground. After jumping the OBD #4 and #9 pins, then turning the key to the "on position", the dash EPS light did not light continuously as described / shown a related YouTube video. Instead, the light flashed once, followed by two flashes (all three flashes were the same duration), then repeated this three-flash sequence continuously. As a result, the balance of the relearn procedure could not be executed. Can anyone provide insight or otherwise advise me on this ? Thank you.
