I was working on replacing the inside door panel on my '07 Fit and I notice something unusual.
Stash spot?
For the life of me I can't figure out what that bulb thing is for. I don't think it's connected to anything. To me it looks like some awesome spot to bring in the latest drugs from the south!
is it routed to the backside of the speaker? Might be a base chamber?? I'm not quite ambitious enough this week to tear the door apart to look. LOL
Well I didn't really investigate all that much, but I couldn't see any wires coming from it or any kind of connection anywhere. I didn't really investigate it all that much as the car is 10 years old and this must have been addressed somewhere.
If there's no responses, I'll check it out closer next time at the wreckers.
It just takes up volume in the door to reduce road noise.
OK I guess if that wasn't there, there would be some kind of echo chamber there? Seems like they could have gotten some better storage compartment going on the door panel and could have achieved the same thing.
Anyways, I found my great stash spot for any diamonds I might want to smuggle in!
