Dead Pedal for GD - Questions and Interest?
#29
For those of you with the Weathertech Digitalfit floor liners, you can slide a hard piece of plastic or sheet metal under the floormat where the dead pedal should be.
I did so using a drawer divider (about 1' long, and 3-4" wide) I grabbed from my office (about 2-3mm thick, rigid black plastic) and it works great. The floorliner holds it in place - you can even use some rug-gripper or carpet gripper tape on hte back of whatever you use as the pedal, to get it to "hook" into the mousehair floorboard carpeting.
I've used this for about 2 weeks, and it hasn't budged.
Best of all, it was free, as I just used stuff I found at the office.
