So I'm attempting to replace the strut mounts on my 04 Fit, and I've gotten to the point where I need to remove the nut on the top that holds the strut in place. I've managed to remove everything bar this one nut and it's driving me mad.
Specifically as shown in this video (at 3.59 - keeps embedding video when I tell it not to):

Now, in the video the guy removes it with an Allen key and a wrench with no hassle. HA! I've been trying to use the force of Zeus himself and nothing is budging. Cannot get an impact wrench over it as the windshield lip doesn't allow any space. Heating the nut is out of the question as there is rubber near it.

Any thoughts?

 

Get a dremel and slice it apart. That's what I did after my attempt ended up breaking a multi-tool bike kit and a separate Allen wrench.
