Are the brakes the same in 2003 as in 2007?

I am in Miami but I own a 2003 Fit in the Bahamas, exported from Japan as a used car, and I need brake pads and disks. Can someone tell me if the brakes on a 2007 are the same? That's the first year in the U.S. and all I can find in Miami auto parts stores. Thank you.

GD1, GD3, and GD5 are certainly the same. Basically the front disc brakes are the same, but some models have discs vs drums in the rear. Also I can't attest to the 4wd models in GD2 and GD4.

Did you ever get the bottom of this? I have the same issue in that I am struggling to get the correct brakes.

My GD1 JDM fit has smaller brakes the the equivalent UK spec jazz.
