. After trial and error with other internet methods, I fixed the floppy drivers side sun visor on my 2007 Fit Sport. It really helps to have a torx T-27 to remove it. I sliced it open, inserted a hose clamp, tightened it more than I thought I would have to. Now it works -- goes up and down, stays in the up position.

 

Nice work. Think a zip-tie would work instead? I don't have this issue, but for the sake of anyone searching in the future it'd be nice to know.
