Thanks and thanks! It’s been a long road w/ this car.

It’s crazy, but I don’t have a single pic of it rn. I’ll try and get it washed up and posted. Paint looks great. Had a 1 step paint correction done on it about a year and a half ago and I wash it very, very carefully lol

will post pics ASAP

Sweet!!! Looks great man. I love the all black stealth look. Definitely does not look like it’s 11 years old with 230k on it!

Thanks bro! I’m fortunate to have kept it in a garage all this time. I really feel like it’s kept the dash and paint in good shape. Even the engine; hoses etc feom dealing w/ 30-40 days over 100 degrees here. That’s a pretty standard summer for us

really whatbmakes it pop is the paint correction process my buddy did. It was swirl city before, now it’s a mirror. He did an unbelievable job.

How bout you?! Any pics I can check out?

Keeping it in the garage definitely shows and he did a great job with the paint. My passenger side just got repainted from a deer hitting me. So that side looks much better then the driver side which has faded.

I have a "build" thread on a Civic forum lol. Haven't had time to do much lately but i just bought a fender roller and will try to do that this week.

Edit: Nice grab on the Megan test pipe btw lol. It won't fit my Fit anyway.

what sort of drivetrain maintenance have you had to do over the 230k, outside of oil changes?

Yeah, I'm lucky to have found a really good paint guy. Car looks great man! I thought about red myself, but stuck to the black. Checked out the build thread, need to do something like that! This car has been on this forum since 07 and no one has really seen it lol. Built GD's aren't exactly common these days so maybe I'll start this week, just realized I left some parts of the list so there's an excuse to type

Can't believe I picked up that test pipe! The last message in my box was literally for the same part over a year ago lol. Timing truly is everything I guess. BNIB too

Basically done everything by the book. Any time the vehicles maintenance system gives me a letter/number combo I do it. Mostly A1 (oil change I think), but from time to time something like B12 pops up. Been on full synthetic since 25/40k I guess.

I literally just can't kill this car lol. Finally, had to replace a squeaky pulley about a year ago and just yesterday another started squeaking. Lost the alternator at 225k (Expensive fix btw. About a $300 part and some BS wrenching to get to it.
