CEL Flashes on Cold Start

CEL Flashes on Cold Start
Hey all, I'm pretty inexperienced with car maintenance so feel free to put things in as simple terms as possible. I have a 2008 Fit Sport with roughly 140,000 miles on it. I initially took my Fit in to the mechanic due to having very noticeable multiple random misfires aggravated by turning on the AC.
They ran engine codes and recommended I replace all the coils and spark plugs so I went along with it.
Car ran great. It was quiet, wasn't jerking, pick up was nice and I got a little gas mileage back. Couple of days later a CEL came on. Auto one ran it and it said Cylinder 2 misfire. Took it back to mechanic, they replaced the coil on that cylinder, CEL came back on a few days later.
Now, on a cold start, the car would rumble a bit, the light would flash a few seconds and then turn solid. Took it back and the mechanics were baffled. They replaced the coil again. At this point I started to wonder if they knew what they were doing since this is literally its third coil in less than a month.
No CEL for 3 days and it came back on this morning in 30 degree weather.
Is there any DIY things I can try before being obligated to go back to another mechanic. I'm about to just go to a Honda dealership but I really don't have money to throw at this problem and would like to avoid it if at all possible.

What items did you change?
Assuming you used brand name, not counterfeit coil/plug
and there is no loose plug,
I would suggest checking ignition coil wire harness (rodents like to chew the wires) as well as checking the valve clearance "tight" exhaust valve can do that
