Check my thoughts?
Hey all,
I have a '13 Fit Sport, with 5MT with about 86,000 miles. Wanting to add some sound (and tiny bit of power) without breaking the bank. Some of these I can probably do myself, others I will have to find a tuner shop to do.
Here's what I know will 'help':
Cold Air Intake: Thinking Injen SP1512 for my vehicle, probably with the water thing (forget what it's called)
Suspension: Only thing I really know I want is a Progress rear sway bar, I think the stock suspension is alright
Exhaust: Leaning towards something from Tanabe, heard they are fairly quiet, but do add some sound. HKS and Spoon are also options. Open to others.
Clutch: Only thing really is the Clutch Delete (Delay?) Valve. That's probably going to be the first thing I get done, suggestions on source? Maybe aftermarket Stage 1 clutch?
Wheels/Tires: Stock Sport rims, I think one of the stock models of tires. Kinda meh in everything from my driving experience. Probably just new tires needed.
Now for things that might or might not help:
Throttle Body: I've seen a few of these on various sites, Spoon for one, though I don't know the specs of the stock throttle body, so I've no idea what effect (if any) it might have.
Catalytic Converter: Saw that Magnaflow makes a few 'high flow' models, not sure what the differences are, and not sure what difference it might make.
Spark Plugs: Probably still running completely stock (Denso?), unknown mileage/replacement.
Engine internals: This is really where a motor swap looks like a better deal in both time and money, but maybe increasing compression a bit here with pistons and connecting rods. Can't find an online calculator that will give me a decent answer (mostly asking for numbers I don't know, and get completely wrong amount of compression)
Valves/head: Not sure if this is even remotely possible, but swapping a DOHC -VTEC head onto the block? Valve adjustment? Again, unknown service history (I've seen every ~30k miles for this), maybe there are 'aggressive' cams/valves out there?
ECU: Haven't seen a lot of evidence of doing much with the L15A1 ECU, so again a motor swap is probably preferable here, but am open. I know when adding the Sprintex supercharger, I've seen people mention they've used K-Tuner (I think) to tune it, but not sure if that's applicable to a mostly stock L15A1 at all.
Anything else I might not be looking at, or shouldn't be looking at changing on my new (to me) Fit? Thanks for any suggestions!

Wheels. Light wheels.
Denso IK22 spark plugs.
The stock clutch feels grabby to me. I'm happier rocking a slightly more slippery Exedy. Short shifter with a weighted knob is cool, along with adjusting clutch pedal throw to make it less of a distance to travel. delay valve delete and if you wanna try something goofy, a knock-off T-Rev that gives sensation of a lightened flywheel without the knock sensor issue. but i still havent done the vacuum test to prove it drops crankcase pressure
it does keep goo (blow by muck) out of the intake and off of the throttle plate or uh, butterfly valve. dry as a bone
