L15A7 engine variations

I'm looking for a spare engine to build for a turbo swap on my CRZ and there are several options available locally. What are the differences between the automatic L15A7 engine and the Manual trans version? Did Honda make any noteworthy changes in different years? Is there any difference between the Canadian market engines and the US version? Is there anything I should look for?

Thanks for any and all advice on the topic.

As I recall, there was a recall for Lost Motion Springs for '09-'11 models.

According to the service manual for the 09-10 editions all North American fits got the exact same L15A7. Variations down to which transmission is bolted up, no variations for block, head.
