Got a question about the Zex Nitrous Kit install

When I tapped my intake for the nitrous nozzle, the threads didn't come out right. The nozzle is threaded in where it doesn't fall out, it's just not "tight". What should I do? My friend suggested putting some JB weld around the nozzle to lock it in there. Thoughts?

Also, I'm not quite done with the install, it was getting dark and the mosqitoes were coming out. Haven't wired it yet, but I have almost everything else done. My check engine light has already come on though, I'm guessing it has something to do with the splitter connected to the fuel line? Any insight?

Thanks!

You could try Teflon tape on the threads.

pix #30 and 31

You can use a brass bushing and redrill and tap the hole in the manifold, that would have a cleaner look about it. That way when you sell, it could be plugged when the kit is removed.
The JB Weld is a forever...... cobbjob #30 in the photo, hope this helps...........

Well this kit as soon as I figure out which wire is going to power the switch.

Then,
K&N CAI
Eibach Sportlines

Other small things like JDP mirror cap and license plate frame, JDM badge, red dot fit emblem, and vinyl foglight film. Does rear seat delete count? Haha, I'm pretty new to all of this, so I'm learning as I go.

My next planned mods are exhaust and enkei rpf1's.

By the way, this is supposed to be in the GE forum, just noticed I accidentally posted in the GD.

Right, there's that input to from the brain, but there's also another output that actually powers the switch. I have to use a spliter to piggyback power off of the accessory power wire to power this other input into the switch. Problem is, I had an aftermarket alarm installed and there are so many wires I have no idea which one to use.

Any more help would be appreciated, thanks!

Can't wait for your impressions!!!

On a side note it seems that NOS kits have gotten more expensive since I've last looked. I remember shopping for them in early 2000s and I think they were around $300-400.

Let me know how the project goes on. Are hooking up a purge or no? Also bottle warmer?
