it seems to smooth out the powerband at least tied in with my PRM intake

If you look at the stock mid-pipe, there is a resonator, it's like a tiny pre-muffler before the actual muffler/canister. So he was asking if his set-up has a resonator or not.

My current exhaust is sub-taiko (resonator) less.
