Just posted in my thread as I replaced my exhaust tonight. I measured the mid-pipe's inlet and outlet and what I got was 45mm ID and 41.5mm ID.

The conversion comes out to b/w 1.63-1.77." Good to know. I want to preserve as much low end torque as possible with a custom exhaust. I'm leaning towards 2-2.5" piping. 2.5" pipe will probably be perfect if/when boost becomes available...

Without doing a dyno test, I can't say for sure. I can say at first there was a slight loss of low-end, like it hit a small bump and then once past about 3500 it just ripped. After driving around that low-end loss is not rearing its ugly face. The ECU must have compensated after a few days, I didn't do any sort of ECU reset after installing the exhaust, just went and drove.

Even if the power is not grand, it just sounds SOOOO much better. It definitely doesn't sound like a tiny 1496cc powered vehicle. Next up will be J's front pipe to delete the small secondary cat.
