oil Life RESET??

Does anyone know how to reset the OIL LIFE to 100%?
without going to the dealership to do an oil change?

page 248-249 of owner's manual (I copied, pasted, edited the layout from the 2010 pdf).

Resetting the Engine Oil Life Display

Your dealer will reset the display after completing the required maintenance service. You will see ‘‘OIL LIFE 100%’’ on the information display the next time you turn the ignition switch to the ON (II) position.

If maintenance service is done by someone other than your dealer, reset the maintenance minder as follows:

1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON (II) position.

2. Press the select/reset knob repeatedly until the engine oil life is displayed.

3. Press the select/reset knob for about 10 seconds. The engine oil life and the maintenance item code(s) will blink.

4. Press the select/reset knob for another 5 seconds. The maintenance item code(s) will disappear, and the engine oil life will reset to ‘‘100.’’
edit#1:
https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/2nd-...-info-ge8.html <---you can find a link to the PDF at the bottom of first post.

edit#2:
you can actually download it from your "Owner Link" account. It'll be under "My Fit" (I think it should be the same for all Fit owners), which itself is under "My vehicles."

thank you very much
I was so stupid, I didn't realized its the life of the oil at first.
I thought its the level of the motor oil left in the engine
I accidentally put in 1 qt
does it hurt the engine?

Excessive oil in the engine will not cause any immediate issues, though it can get whipped up into a foamy mess that isn't too good for oil circulation - hard to pump etc.

If you're due for a change, just go ahead and drive to wherever you are having the change done. Otherwise, use a CLEAN drain pan to let some oil out, then add it back in until you are right at the full mark.
