i searched and seems everyones on the greddy or hks ... no mugen ??

I just saw this thread about a guy who installed one (link below). I would think the other exhausts are more popular because the Mugen is over 2X as expensive as the others. The Mugen is one of the best sounding IMO though. The sound of the HKS is a close second for me and it's the one I'm planning on getting.

My buddy had a Mugen exhaust but it was heavier and produced no extra power so he sold it. He just went with a custom set up and gained power plus saved around $300 IIRC.

 

found the exhaust for $585 on google shopping ... $200 more ... close to double haha .. i prefer quality sound , not too loud ... hks or apexi might be ok ... greddy is too low grumbling for my tastes...

 

hmmm custom is prolly too much work for my tastes haha. isnt custom more expensive usually ? ive heard some are pretty expensive ...

the mugen is heavier then stock ? wierd ...

do the gd's have different b pipes or midpipes ? i still like the mugen axleback best so far ... i need a midpipe to use with it ... is there no header solution still ?? anyone with test pipes ? do they throw codes ?

i don't see a point in changing the b pipe ... nothing to gain from it really ... a lil bigger diameter ...
